The DeBolt website project was a learning experience indeed. After hearing rave reviews about the VirtueMart shopping cart system I decided to deviate from our norm and give it a try. Everything went wonderfully until it came time to configure the shipping module, which proved impossible. So the original files were torn apart and fitted into our standard shopping cart program which, of course, does everything just the way it is supposed to. I guess the moral of the story is, if it's not broken, don't try to fix it. Honestly, VirtueMart was pretty easy to work with overall. If it wasn't for the shipping problem, it would have been perfect.
