It’s been a long week of getting everything caught up and trying to get through at least some of that to-do list that’s been on my desk for what seems like forever. Projects that have been stalled out for reasons beyond our control will be rolling strong again next week (at least those that aren’t already).

It’s an hour before quitting time on Friday, but I may just blow this popstand anyhow… I forgot the camera cord at the house so I can’t download the pictures I need for the next project today anyway. And it’s not like I can’t do all that at home…

The rugrat is sick today, so there’s always the need to get home and entertain him. Day care has a couple drawbacks I guess, but it also frees up enough time during the week that if I have to cut out early or even take a day off (gasp!), I can afford to do that now. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to feel like I am actually getting a good amount of work done without working all day and into the night.

It feels great to have this move mostly behind us and to be back in the studio all day… and to have a few paychecks on the horizon again. There was a period of time there where we were in transit and it was impossible to get anything done.

I’ll get back on the horse again with the blog entries soon… for now life is pretty boring… or just normal I guess.
