The new incarnation of the Zandergraphics website is here.
It's not nearly finished, but it is here and live and ready for your amusement. Since the last retooling of the Zandergraphics site about a year ago, there have been a number of significant advances and improvements in the world of website design. In every area of the graphics game, the key is keeping up with the latest developments and we have made some pretty significant improvements here at Zandergraphics over the past several months and will be rolling out some great new web hosting packages and have already implemented quite a few server upgrades to make life easier and more fun for everyone.
What's New?
I'll tell you what's new... just about everything, that's what. We just completed an overhaul on our mail server and file servers, adding more storage, more bandwidth, and a ton of new features. Many of you who already have hosting accounts with us have seen the new features and control panels. If you have an account with us and haven't seen the new back end, just hang in there, we're still in the process of getting everyone transferred over.
New Email Servers
The new mail server is up and running with lots of fancy new features. Individual account holders can now create new email accounts, set up email forwarders and autoresponders, edit your account spam filters, and just a ton of new stuff. I'll get a list of it all on the site shortly and examples will be coming as well. Webmail users will now have three webmail clients to choose from, so those of you who didn't like Horde, you're in luck. Now you can choose either SquirrelMail or RoundTree for your webmail needs. Those of you who like Horde or are just more uncomfortable with change, you'll be happy to know that the third webmail option is Horde so there's no need to switch if you don't want to.
New Hosting Packages
More information about this will be coming very soon, but in short, we have added a lot of space to our server and are in the process of revamping the hosting packages that we offer. The new packages will range from very simple, small accounts up to accounts with gigabytes of space with more features than you can shake a stick at. The new accounts (as many of you already know) come equipped with full control panel access including the ability to email settings, subdomains, statistics, and video tutorials. Installable applications include blogging software, billing software, content management, and a template-driven website builder is available on request.
Details on all the new hosting packages and features will be coming in the near future. For now we are working on getting the online support and billing up and running, which will make online payments much easier.
